The Beatitudes are window; a lens through which we can view scripture and apply it in life. This is "Recovery" from living wrongly. The arrangement of the Beatitudes leads forward, ordering our relationships. First with God, then ourselves and then others. Further, these 'blessings' outline what we will do as a result living in right relationships, and the consequences of living for Christ. The order and arrangement of the Beatitudes is a formula for life.
