Prayers for Leaders? Prayers for Enemies.

Yes, we pray for our Leaders: That God will use them to accomplish His purposes. We pray: That he will hold them accountable for their graft, corruption, sins and crimes. That many will be awakened to a true understanding of right and wrong. That even those deceived in the past by wicked leaders - at every level - will be given a second chance to draw near the the truth. And we pray for our enemies, especially ones who hold high offices and surround themselves with an enabling army of sycophants.

“I don’t understand what you think I’m saying.”

We've heard it said that "You can act your way into a feeling, but you can't feel your way into acting." The notion is that if I wait to feel like helping my brother, I'll never help him. Most will interpret this notion as "Faking it until you make it." Nothing could be further from the truth.

If truth is important them, people will hear God. It starts with creation. It ends with us. What more evidence is required? The converse is truly distressing. If truth isn't what they seek, then no amount of evidence will be sufficient.
