Catching folks up:
The Saturday Gideon’s and Sunday women’s meetings were not cancelled this past week as I previously anticipated.
Since these meetings were scheduled "during business hours" — they were permitted access. Those meetings will continue as in the past.
The mens study has been rescheduled to accommodate the new constraint. In the foreseeable future it will be held 2-3pm Thursdays.
Thanks so much for reading.

This message is FYI – No RSVP – going out to a list of folks who might wish to hear that:
Bible programs at the Coos County Jail have been cancelled.
Last night we arrived at the County Jail for Bible Study and were turned away. Budget issues and staff downsizing are known to affect access.
The situation has been called "Temporary" (see this article in The World Link News Online.)
The meeting I attend has operated for more than 15 years under the auspices of Prison Fellowship. For men, the inmate turnout is often more than 30 during the course of the evening. The Women’s meeting (Scheduled Sundays) was only just recently resumed – after having been cancelled for more than 5 years – we presume it will no longer meet as well.
The Gideon’s may also be locked out. They meet Saturday mornings.
