If you know (or remember) less than you wish relative to the “War on Drugs”: An illuminating and meditative piece appears this week in Aeon at this link.

The title and synopsis:

“What were drugs?”

“The war on drugs was always a war against an idea. But ideas have a shelf-life, too, and this one has lost its potency”

Let go let God doesn’t exist to condemn the user. The Lord made us and gave us free will. Everyone makes their own choices, some of them lead to destruction.  We exist to give voice for hope.

“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32

We remain ready to assist those who want to change the choices they make — in favor of finding something more than just abstinence. We’re evoke healing through the power of Jesus.
