Warming fire, at the moment of Moonrise. 1/2 way between Passover and Pentecost — or the “Feast of Weeks” — the traditional festival of the Law being given on Mt. Sinai.

Counting blessings, and looking forward in faith: To the Promise of His Coming.

“Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen me but still have believed.” John 20:29

The ancient Hebrew Feast of weeks — 55 days, or two lunar cycles — from the time of Passover to the giving of the the Law on Mt. Sinai.

    Full moon in May is 1/2 way from Passover to Pentecost. On Pentecost Jesus “Baptized” the Apostles into His life with His Holy Spirit. See Acts 1:13 — it all “begins” with this!!
    We receive the same Spirit upon salvation.
    I’m fascinated that so many of my Christian friends aren’t aware of these linkages. Pentecost is a big deal, brothers!
